Epic of Hearts (to be accompanied by dearly beloved, Kingdom Hearts II edition)

Part 1: The Nobody
The tides of my heart,
Rise and fall like the tides of a beach.
My heart becomes shallow and deep simultaneously,
The waves lap at my feet,
My heart freezes in time.

The sky, the wind,
Who am I? A nobody.
Once I was a whole,
Now I am not quite one.
My heart longs for companionship,
One which only friends can fill.

A teardrop from my eye,
Broken memories, a smile,
Friendships, black hair,
Ice cream?
The memory of salty and sweet do not clash, but only makes me remember more.
Who is that girl smiling, a vague memory in my mind?
And why do I want her back?

A clock tower,
A key,
A heart,
Friends Forever.

Part II: Sky-Heart
I was once a simple boy,
Living in a simple world.
I had a heart, but I once gave it away,
For only the sea.
I got it back, but for a brief while,
I was heartless.

I had two friends,
The land and the sea,
We were inseparable, until one day,
Darkness filled the land, and took the sea.
I was lost, but I gained the key to the light,
And fought my way out.

I gained new friends, And New enemies,
New experiences, and felt loss.
Lost my heart, lost my friends,
But I finally triumphed against the darkness.

Yet my memories were taken,
And I had to fight for them,
Brief flashes, glimpses,
False memories, false insights into the life of others,
I was lost, but then regained all.
And fell asleep.

I awoke and merged with nobody,
Becoming whole,
Reunited,
and stronger.
13 tried to stop me,
I merely fought on, for my friends.

Keys,
Strength,
Honor,
Friendships,
The Light.
One Sky, One destiny.

The Sonnet

Shall I compare thee to a winter's day?
You are colder and more subzero.
Whereas the sun comes on winter,
You are always in the night.
Where winter has soothing, albeit cold winds,
You are bitter, cold and unmoving.
Sometimes people have fun with winter,
Yet you are no fun at all.
Winter is for all of us,
But you shut yourself off from all.
So I say this, for once in my life,
That I loved you, the Snow Queen.

Knight

I am a knight,
Who sacrificed his
Soul to protect you.
I have no shining armor,
Neither do I have a white horse,
But I do have
A life,
That belongs only
To you.

Love made me give up my
Soul for you,
But when it was all over,
The contract was still there.
I cannot walk
Out from it,
Neither would I,
If I wanted to.
For even after love dies,
The ember still burns.

Remember,
When you are at the pinnacle of loneliness,
At the peak of despair,
At the zenith of sorrow,
The apex of hurt,
I am there,
To help you.

Luna Umbra

The moon today scares me,
A darkness, creeping along it,
An Eclipse?
No. Worse than that.
For an eclipse does not whisper,
And the Moon today speaks my name,
Out loud.

I wonder,
Is something there on the moon,
Waiting and biding its time,
For fear of man,
And fear For man.

Broken

I
The cavalier, finishes his work,
A masterpiece, He thinks,
He shares it with others,
They smile, they agree,
The cavalier nods and Gives away that masterpiece.

II
The waiting, tense and long, breaks,
He receives no note,
His curiosity kills him,
He goes to the Castle.
Alas! His masterpiece,
Regarded by scorn, by the ones,
In the Castle.

III
Now broken, The Cavalier,
Returns, with but only a shadow of his original smile,
He dies, peacefully, Never creating anything anymore.

RIP Daxam Grave, the only literary character that I felt confident enough to show the world, but was met with resentment.

Dreamer (Written during my english exam)

Awake, young one,
Awake from your slumber,
Shed off your mortal shell,
And enter my
World.

I am Morpheus,
Lord of Dreams,
Come to my realm,
And don't be afraid,
It's only a dream.

Ah, I see a beast,
With a tentacled maw,
A strong jaw,
Deep set eyes.
Huh? I see.
This is how you see
Your father.

Look up there.
A bird? No! A roc.
A mighty roc with a
Screeching voice,
Claws of iron,
And a beak of steel.
That's your mother,
In your eyes.

Who is she?
That ethereal form?
Why, that is her,
Your Aphrodite,
Your Venus,
Shadowy, Half-Naked,
Beautiful, Half-Shown.
That is how you,
See of her.

Now, dawn is coming.
Rest now, young one.
Sleep again, in your shell,
And tonight, return once more,
To my realm,
Of dreams.

Monarch

The monarch,
Looks at the land,
His beloved, Underneath,
He sighs, at
the Separation
and Distance between
Them Both.

Her beauty, always,
Seen from a distance,
Never seems to
Deter the monarch.
He wants her,
But the seduction of
Others, make it impossible.

Dark before the Dawn

Every story has an ending,
Every flame must die,
Every king will fall,
Every Legend will end.

My love,
Is the greatest story,
The greatest legend, The wildest flame,
The immortal king,
But it ends,
Now.

Someone once told me,
It is always darkest before dawn,
Well, I said, Now it's day,
I hope night never comes.

But life is like a fleeting shadow,
And everyday has it's night.
Dusk came, my Love blotted
Out by the darkness before dawn.

I thought I would die, Actually,
More than once,
Suffocated by the darkness,
Where were you? I don't know,
But I was left alone.

But now the night has passed,
And I can see the violet in the sky,
Dawn is coming,
And I smile,
My love and pain is over.

I rose up today, early.
I ended the story, the legend,
Snuffed out the flame,
Slain the King,
And walked out a new man.

The wolf was outside,
Waiting for me,
The hawk,
Eyes on me,
The shark,
Ready for me.
I ignored them,
And went away.

Today, as dawn gets,
Clearer,
I thank you, my friend,
For teaching me that
Nothing lasts forever,
Not even love.

New Dawns

Every story must end,
Every love must die,
Even mine, even mine.

I had thought you the one,
I was not right, I was not yet wrong,
You are the one, true,
But not the one for me.

The world is wide, and as such,
There are others.
I thank you, my friend,
For showing me there are others.

I felt numb at first,
But slowly it subsides,
I have more love, and more to love,
So I stood up and went.

Today is a new beginning,
A fresh dawn, A new age.
For today I walk another path,
For today I grown up.

Fate

We are shaped
By Fate,
Just as We
Shape it, But
Fate is fickle
In its choosing,
so In
The end, We
End up nowhere at
All.

Wind

The Voice of
The Wind
Is Silent
Yet Noisy,
Wild
yet Tamed,
weak yet
Strong,
And invisible yet
There, Always.

Her

Her Eyes,
Like Shining
Diamonds,
Stare at me,
Full of
Innocence,
Which I have
Lost.

Her Words,
Like the faintest rain,
Fall on my
Weary mind.
Keeping me safe,
And Comforted from
Hate.

Her smile,
Like the eternal sun,
Shines through
All hatred
and Pain.
I see the smile,
And I know I
Will Be Safe.

Her rejection,
Stings like
A blade,
On My
Heart.
But my Love,
is Always There.

I love you.

The Prisoner

Daylight,
He sits at a desk,
Writing, Answering.
People Call.
He wants to leave,
But can't.

He is bound,
Not in chains, but
Books and Pens.
Knowledge is his lock,
But the key,
Is lost.

He laments,
At his pain,
But No one,
Can free,
The prisoner.

Alpha

The Moon hangs
on the sky,
A white disc,
Against Black.

No stars shine,
The inky darkness too
deep.

A howl rises.
The pack comes
with Alpha
at the lead.

A young wolf
Comes,
Challenging Alpha,
He sneers
and Accepts.

Claws, Fangs, Teeth
In a heap of fur,
They fight.
Others watch
this skirmish.

A howl rises.
It is done.
Alpha recedes,
And a new leader
Is Born

Nightlord

Night has fallen,
He rises from his bed,
Tired, Yawning, Wretched

He walks to the door,
Pausing, taking his blade,
And dressing himself in
Black.

He stalks carefully,
Stealthily he walks,
Soundless, A shadow,
On a roof.

He reaches his destination,
He sees the one,
He raises his blade,
A swish, and it is done.

He returns using a different way,
Using the streets,
He reaches the house,
He creeps into bed,
Leaving the night,
Entering
The Dream
