Broken
I
The cavalier, finishes his work,
A masterpiece, He thinks,
He shares it with others,
They smile, they agree,
The cavalier nods and Gives away that masterpiece.
II
The waiting, tense and long, breaks,
He receives no note,
His curiosity kills him,
He goes to the Castle.
Alas! His masterpiece,
Regarded by scorn, by the ones,
In the Castle.
III
Now broken, The Cavalier,
Returns, with but only a shadow of his original smile,
He dies, peacefully, Never creating anything anymore.
RIP Daxam Grave, the only literary character that I felt confident enough to show the world, but was met with resentment.

Dreamer (Written during my english exam)
Awake, young one,
Awake from your slumber,
Shed off your mortal shell,
And enter my
World.
I am Morpheus,
Lord of Dreams,
Come to my realm,
And don't be afraid,
It's only a dream.
Ah, I see a beast,
With a tentacled maw,
A strong jaw,
Deep set eyes.
Huh? I see.
This is how you see
Your father.
Look up there.
A bird? No! A roc.
A mighty roc with a
Screeching voice,
Claws of iron,
And a beak of steel.
That's your mother,
In your eyes.
Who is she?
That ethereal form?
Why, that is her,
Your Aphrodite,
Your Venus,
Shadowy, Half-Naked,
Beautiful, Half-Shown.
That is how you,
See of her.
Now, dawn is coming.
Rest now, young one.
Sleep again, in your shell,
And tonight, return once more,
To my realm,
Of dreams.

Monarch
The monarch,
Looks at the land,
His beloved, Underneath,
He sighs, at
the Separation
and Distance between
Them Both.
Her beauty, always,
Seen from a distance,
Never seems to
Deter the monarch.
He wants her,
But the seduction of
Others, make it impossible.

Dark before the Dawn
Every story has an ending,
Every flame must die,
Every king will fall,
Every Legend will end.
My love,
Is the greatest story,
The greatest legend, The wildest flame,
The immortal king,
But it ends,
Now.
Someone once told me,
It is always darkest before dawn,
Well, I said, Now it's day,
I hope night never comes.
But life is like a fleeting shadow,
And everyday has it's night.
Dusk came, my Love blotted
Out by the darkness before dawn.
I thought I would die, Actually,
More than once,
Suffocated by the darkness,
Where were you? I don't know,
But I was left alone.
But now the night has passed,
And I can see the violet in the sky,
Dawn is coming,
And I smile,
My love and pain is over.
I rose up today, early.
I ended the story, the legend,
Snuffed out the flame,
Slain the King,
And walked out a new man.
The wolf was outside,
Waiting for me,
The hawk,
Eyes on me,
The shark,
Ready for me.
I ignored them,
And went away.
Today, as dawn gets,
Clearer,
I thank you, my friend,
For teaching me that
Nothing lasts forever,
Not even love.

New Dawns
Every story must end,
Every love must die,
Even mine, even mine.
I had thought you the one,
I was not right, I was not yet wrong,
You are the one, true,
But not the one for me.
The world is wide, and as such,
There are others.
I thank you, my friend,
For showing me there are others.
I felt numb at first,
But slowly it subsides,
I have more love, and more to love,
So I stood up and went.
Today is a new beginning,
A fresh dawn, A new age.
For today I walk another path,
For today I grown up.

Fate
We are shaped
By Fate,
Just as We
Shape it, But
Fate is fickle
In its choosing,
so In
The end, We
End up nowhere at
All.
